Live performances by musician Luke Wallace
Join us on March 22nd in Sidney and on March 23rd in Tofino.
Join Raincoast and musician Luke Wallace this Spring in Sidney and Tofino for two evenings in support of Raincoast’s campaign to Safeguard Coastal Carnivores.
Luke will share songs from his latest album, Us. The album was recorded in in eight different locations all across BC. Each song highlights a different community of people committed to protecting their homes. From The Peace River Valley to the Salish Sea, Luke’s music tells a story of people all over BC who are standing up for their communities and the rights of nature.
Each night will help raise funds for Raincoast’s Safeguarding Coastal Carnivores campaign. Raincoast’s Ross Dixon will provide an update on efforts in partnership with Coastal First Nations, to permanently end commercial trophy hunting of all large carnivores in the Great Bear Rainforest.

You can help
Raincoast’s in-house scientists, collaborating graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and professors make us unique among conservation groups. We work with First Nations, academic institutions, government, and other NGOs to build support and inform decisions that protect aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, and the wildlife that depend on them. We conduct ethically applied, process-oriented, and hypothesis-driven research that has immediate and relevant utility for conservation deliberations and the collective body of scientific knowledge.
We investigate to understand coastal species and processes. We inform by bringing science to decision-makers and communities. We inspire action to protect wildlife and wildlife habitats.
