Gary Bouwman, BSc, MEng

Gary Bouwman is an engineer with more than 30 years of experience in coastal and marine engineering in North America and overseas. Since 2018 Gary has helped Raincoast manage engineering, permitting, and construction related activities on Fraser River Estuary Projects at Steveston North Jetty and the Iona North Arm Jetty.
These projects have restored natural migration channels allowing juvenile salmon to gain access to critical habitat on Sturgeon Bank. He is now continuing similar work at other restoration sites on the Fraser estuary.
