‘Give Killer Whales a Voice’ is a multi-year initiative with research expeditions expected to take place in Canada, Iceland, and Australia through 2028. By becoming a monthly donor, your contributions provide long-term, reliable, self-sustaining income.
Science-informed advocacy is central to our approach, as research translates to policy outcomes. This is how we will:
- Establish a scalable, global framework for comparative studies of killer whale communications;
- Study and protect other sound-centred species (like the endangered Southern Resident killer whales);
- Create tools that other researchers can adopt worldwide.
