Julia Hargreaves
Chosen twice for the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Birds in Art exhibition and two-time Ducks Unlimited National Art Portfolio winner, internationally published BC wildlife artist Julia Hargreaves trained in England and received an MA from Manchester Metropolitan University.
As a member of Artists for Conservation, her work has appeared in several of their annual exhibitions, including the inaugural exhibition at Hiram Blauvelt Art Museum, New York, and in 2008 she illustrated Birdscapes: A Pop-Up Celebration of Bird Song.
In 2011 she took part in a canoe trip with the Wilderness River Expedition Artists Federation to Caribou Woodland Park in Ontario to sketch and record the boreal forest as part of a project to help preserve the largest remaining intact forest on the planet. Julia is represented by Tutt St. Gallery and Picture Perfect, Kelowna; Lloyd Gallery, Penticton; Avenida Galleries, Calgary; and Robert Paul Galleries, Stowe, Vermont, USA.
