Community Engagement Specialist
Samantha holds a Fundraising Management Certificate from Durham College and has volunteered with numerous arts and animal-welfare nonprofit organizations. With a background in the music industry, she brings experience in creative marketing and special events, offering a fresh perspective on fundraising strategy – particularly in areas that emphasize community engagement and connection.
Before formally joining Raincoast, Samantha assisted the development team as a volunteer by identifying new funding opportunities. She now supports the organization’s public outreach initiatives, campaigns, partnership building efforts, and grant coordination.
Having spent her childhood on Vancouver Island, Samantha is thrilled to support Raincoast’s mission to protect the environment, cultures, and communities she has long admired and cherished.
