Vancouver GROUNDSWELL premiere tonight at Science World

Groundswell is going on tour

along with REFLECTIONS: Art for an Oil-Free Coast.

After packed a house in Victoria at the David Lam Auditorium, Groundswell moves to Science World for its Vancouver premiere tonight, November 3rd.  A diverse and star-studded team of surfers, filmmakers, scientists and environmentalists will subsequently take the show  to Patagonia Outlet Stores in major cities and surf meccas of the west coast.  The final US show will be Nov 17th in Cardiff, CA. Groundswell will screen with another short Raincoast documentary, Reflections: Art for an Oil-Free Coast that opened at the 2012 Vancouver International Film Festival.

Raincoast’s in-house scientists, collaborating graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and professors make us unique among conservation groups. We work with First Nations, academic institutions, government, and other NGOs to build support and inform decisions that protect aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, and the wildlife that depend on them.
