New killer whale active hat now available in the Raincoast store
Wear what you stand for.
Made for salty air, long days on the water, and people who believe wild places and species are worth protecting.
This relaxed, light weight, five-panel hat has a mesh back, and is made in Canada. It’s designed so you can hike, work, run, garden, sail, and soak in the sun. It’s machine washable, so sweat away!
The front features original art of a mother and calf killer whale by Canadian artist, Art by Di, born and raised in British Columbia.
Choose from four colours – sage, teal, spruce, or classic black.

Every purchase supports our ongoing, extensive efforts to protect and recover endangered Southern Resident killer whales.
The Southern Residents are under pressure from a lack of food (specifically Chinook salmon, their preferred prey), too much underwater noise from vessel traffic, and contaminant exposure from an increasingly industrialized Salish Sea.
And now these endangered killer whales are facing the potential gutting of the Species at Risk Act, as well as the prospective fast tracking of both a massive port expansion and construction of a tar sands pipeline terminus at Roberts Bank in the Fraser River estuary. We bring unparalleled scientific and technical expertise amongst the ENGO world to the fight for the Southern Residents.
