Faces of the Fraser: The Confluence

April 24 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
What is it?
A mixer for environmental professionals focused on honest solutions, new relationships, and bold ideas.
Working in the environmental sector can be isolating. We’re hoping to change that by hosting The Confluence, an evening of thought-provoking discussions, community-building, and networking at the Fraser River Discovery Centre.

We’ll kick it off with a keynote talk by Jason Hwang, Vice President of the Pacific Salmon Foundation, then transition to small-group activities to discuss how our field can adapt to a changing political environment. What should we be looking out for in the coming years? What are some things we need to let go of?
Expect to have some assumptions challenged and to come away with a fresh perspective on your work.
Refreshments will be provided by Columbia Street Sandwich Company and Heartberry Soda.
We hope to see you there!
