Protect what you love
Raincoast’s Wild Salmon Program is focused on ensuring that wild salmon thrive across their historic range at abundance levels that sustain wildlife and communities. The Wild Salmon Program addresses threats facing the survival of wild salmon and actively works to restore their habitat.

About Raincoast Conservation Foundation
Raincoast Conservation Foundation is a team of scientists and conservationists dedicated to safeguarding the lands, waters, and wildlife of coastal British Columbia.
Our vision for coastal British Columbia is to protect the habitats and resources of umbrella species. We believe this approach will help safeguard all species, including people, and help maintain healthy ecological processes.
To further this goal, we operate a research lab at the University of Victoria, a conservation genetics lab at the Pacific Science Enterprise Centre, a 68-foot Transport Canada certified research/sailing vessel, Achiever, a mobile water pollution lab, Tracker, and a coastally-focused land trust. Central to our efforts are long-standing relationships with Indigenous communities.
