March 9 @ 1:00 pm 2:30 pm

The presentation will explore wolf biology and ecology – how wolves navigate complex social structures, vast territories, and play a vital ecological role – before turning to the conservation challenges they face today. Participants will also learn about the program’s wildlife welfare ethics and minimally invasive research methods – such as wildlife camera traps and genetic sampling – demonstrating how science can deepen our understanding of wolves while respecting their welfare.

This session offers ElderCollege participants a thoughtful look at the science, ethics, and evolving landscape of wolf conservation in BC.

This event is private to ElderCollege participants.
