Raincoast open house

We are so excited for the Raincoast Ocean Science Awards, celebrating the individuals and groups that are striving to protect marine and coastal habitats through science, Indigenous Knowledge systems, education, and public engagement. 

Join us for a special Open House! Achiever and Tracker will be just a short walk away from The Polygon. Join us from 4pm to 6pm on Lonsdale quay to explore SV Achiever and our mobile water pollution lab Tracker. This is a unique opportunity to see firsthand the platforms we use in our conservation work before the main event indoors! 

The location of Achiever and Tracker from 4pm to 6pm is a short two minute walk from each other.

Achiever is our research vessel and magic carpet to the coast of BC. Come see us at St Roch Dock!

Tracker brings our Healthy Waters program to watersheds in BC. Come see us at The Polygon!

  • Tracker will host a number of rugged analytical instruments, and enable the measurement of several contaminants in the field, including coliform bacteria, nutrients, metals, pesticides, and tracers of wastewater effluent.
