Lauren Henson, Raincoast Research Fellow

Lauren is focussing on utilizing genetic and genomic techniques to elucidate the evolutionary, geographic and resource factors driving grizzly and black bear population structure along the interior to coastal ecotone of British Columbia. She is passionate about integrating laboratory and field based science and applying molecular techniques to the ecological questions of large carnivore conservation. I believe that good science is community driven, conducted and motivated.
