Can you please tell me where the “commercial trophy hunting” situation is at the moment?
Thank you.
Hi Maureen
This link gives the update to December 2011. The BC provincial government has told us in the last couple weeks they expect everything to be complete by mid February. We continue to wait, but have assurances it will be transfered.
thanks so much for your interest and support

Hello Raincoast,
Thank you so much for tracking this issue, and for your report.
We are currently updating our website, in which we have an article and report written in 2009 by folks at Raincoast (http://www.cougarfund.org/conservation/canada/). I was searching for BC’s new cougar management plan, if it was ever created or implemented. Can you tell me if that did happen, and where I might find the most recent information?
Thank you!
Hi Heather
Remarkably, the Province has still not released the report.
Thanks for following this.
